This is another kind of a pie which is made with mainly the Fritos. The Fritos are prepared in a mixture which contains several spices, sour cream, rice, and jalapenos. The dish has much in common with the popular Mexican dish, chilaquiles.

Shalu Dhaba , Shil-Fata Road This place is located at road side of Kalyan-Shil Road in Padle village. It’s a huge place with variety of cuisines including veg and non-veg dishes. It has more than 6 gardens/ seating areas with A/C and non-A/C areas. A.C area is only for family. Gardens are also bifurcated for family only and others. Well decorated with bamboo this place is amazing. One garden also has wooden shacks beautifully built. It also serves alcohol. This place is usually busy all days of the week. And too crowded on weekend. Since this place has only kitchen serving all customers, there is delay in receiving orders placed. So yeah consider waiting time if you are visiting on weekends or there is crowd on week days as well. It is fairly famous for parties and celebrations for young crowd and family near by. People also come to this visit this place from far place.

Mahun Khau Galli Sorry  vegetarians  but this khau galli is a complete non-vegetarian affair with the likes of beef kebabs, mutton khichda, chicken seekh  kebab  and baida roti on offer. This galli is located opposite the Mahim Dargah and is open from noon till midnight. However, I suggest you head there in the evening to avoid the dinner time rush. My picks:  Mutton Kebab Pav, Chicken Shawarma, Baida Roti and Falooda
